ive seen a lot of requests for going online lately, so i thought i would make this tutorial for those who cant login to wifi. i appologize about the quality of my picutres.
NOTE: you will need a cable or broadband connection to connect to wifi! you know if you have this type of connection when you have a modem (it looks like a router without the antena) and your computer doesnt have a dial tone when you connect to the internet.
this tutorial is for those who have wireless routers, which look like this:
step 1: go to allspark wars on the main menu of your character's profile and select wifi setup. it is the second option on the screen.
step 2: on the wifi options screen you should see a big blue button and a meduim sized orange button. select the big blue button.
step 3: you have 3 connection boxes that allow you to save 3 different connection settings. also you have the option of connecting to a ninendo USB wifi router. (i dont recommend the nindendo USB router because they have a tendancey not to work) select one of your connection settings.
step 4: you will now see a screen with one long blue button and 2 smaller blue buttons. select the long blue button on the top. the other 2 buttons are for those who know about manual setups and should only be used if you have experience in networking.
step 5: your ds is now searching for your router. this will only take a few seconds.
step 6: if your router is properly set, you should see a list of connections you can connect to. be sure to select your router's connection if there is more than one. you may need to enter a WEP key or password if it is locked, if this is the case, ask a parent for help (i unlocked mine for simplicities sake for this tutorial)
step 7: select your router and the ds will perform a test on the connection, this can take some time, so be patient.
step 8: if all goes well, you will be sent back to this screen: then press the b button to return to the allspark wars menu.
step 9: on the allspark wars menu select allspark wars and wait for the game to connect, this shouldnt take too long.
step 10: when your game connects to wifi the allspark wars menu will be displayed. before you can completely connect your game to the allspark wars you will need to get your account code. it is found by selecting the 5th option on the menu which is labeled "website login". when you select that option, you will get a code. write that code down.
step 11: take the code and enter it into your profile on the transformers website. there is a space in the upper right corner of the page where your code can be entered. enter your code correctly and you will be connected to the allspark wars. if an error occurs, you may have to create a new profile on your game's other slot and repeat these steps until it works.
